Measurements and theory of reflection and transmission in bianisotropic omega composites
1995
Measured results are compared with our theoretical predictions. The analytical approach is based on the antenna model of single chiral and omega particles. Each particle is considered as a wire-and-loop structure of appropriate geometry, and antenna theory is used to calculate the polarization. Using the Maxwell Garnett model for bianisotropic mixtures we obtain the permittivity, permeability and the coupling parameter, which allows us to calculate the reflection and transmission coefficients.
