Оценка родителями деятельности рентгенологического отделения крупного многопрофильного стационара для детей

We have performed anonymous survey of parents of 416 children, who had underwent examination in X-ray department of Saint-Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University, also we have evaluated 3 annual reports (2011-2013 years). We have found out, that there were performed free examinations (85.9%) as well as paid examinations (14.1%) in X-ray department of Saint-Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University. However, as majority of parents (82.2%) see it, all X-ray examination for children must be free. At the same time, 28.8 % of parents can pay for some X-ray examination, if it necessary. Frequently, patients have to wait for examination, especially in case of CT (≥5 days, 74.3% of patients) and MRI (≥10 days, 40.1% of patients). Parents give high valuation of personality features and professional skills of employees and of work of hall X-ray department (at mean 4.5 scores). At the same time, 24.2% of patients indicate some disadvantages: firstly, logistic is bad, secondly, there isn´t certain time of examination, thirdly, there is deficit of necessary equipment for fixation of child during X-ray examination.
