Modern Information Technology and Curriculum Integration

Information technology and curriculum integration is a new approach to teaching and learning, which connects information technology, information resources, information approaches, labor resources with curriculums synthetically to achieve the goals of courses. It has the following characteristics: a process of stimulating by tasks, information technology as a fundamental tool of teachers and students, the teaching goals of the combination of knowledge learning and creativity training, and the harmonious union of the individual learning and co-operative learning. It is an essential reform in learning approaches in which teachersquality plays a key role. At the end of the present article, the author deals with teachers’ role in the new situation.
