Hepatitis colestática aguda secundaria a amoxicilina-ácido clavulánico

Resumen Tras el tratamiento con la asociacion amoxicilina-acido clavulanico se han comunicado diversos casos de reacciones hepaticas. A continuacion se describen dos casos de hepatitis colestasica aguda secundaria a amoxicilina-acido clavulanico; tras descartar la etiologia viral, autoinmune y otras causas de dano hepatico. En uno de los casos, la biopsia hepatica mostro infiltracion inflamatoria portal y colangitis y en el otro mostro colestasis y hepatocitos con esteatosis hepatica. Summary Several cases of hepatic reactions have been reported following the treatment with amoxycillin-clavulanic acid combination. Two events of acute cholestasic hepatitis secondary to amoxycillin-clavulanic acid are described as follows, once that viral etiology, autoinmune and other reasons for hepatitis injury was r e j e c t e d . In one the cases, hepatic biopsy showed inflammatory infiltration portal and cholangitis; and in the other case, cholestasis and hepatocytes with hepatic steatosis were showed.
