Study on the modeling of timed-token protocol

Abstract The study on the modeling of timed-token protocol (TTP) in metropolitan area network is presented in this paper. The classification of queueing models of TTP is given, and the mathematical analysis as well as numerical emulation for one of the queueing models i.e. L/G/1 [Intermittent, Station priority, TTP, Time-limited service] are presented.
