Метод селективного численного анализа спектра оператора, компактного в гильбертовом пространстве

A method of selective numerical analysis of spectrum of compact in Hilbert space operator, is considered in the case, when the eigenvalues, which are the nearest to some given number, are being found. Vibration eigenfrequencies of the rope, which is loaded by the various longitudinal forces, are obtained using the suggested method.
