Growing fracture of the skull: report of an unusual case.

Abstract The authors report a case of a growing fracture of the skull in an elderly woman who remained asymptomatic for over 6 decades and presented at the age of 62 years with symptoms akin to the syndrome of the trephined. Successful duraplasty and cranioplasty were done with disappearance of all symptoms. A brief review of the relevant literature is also presented
