The aim of the work is to determine the characteristics of the family system and family attitudes, which can be targets of psychotherapeutic interventions in the treatment of drug addiction. The directions of scientific research of family problems in dependent forms of behavior are revealed. The article presents the results of a study of current family homeostasis in drug addiction, which is characterized by systemic disorders of family functioning and family interaction in terms of family cohesion and flexibility. It has been determined that the general laws of the family system in drug addiction are emotional alienation and imbalance in family adaptation with a shift or towards destabilization, uncertainty of family rules, hierarchy, roles, or - loss of adaptive plasticity. It has been shown that the image of an ideal family in drug addicts is characterized by functionality, while in their relatives the desire for excessive emotional closeness and stable family functioning through excessive tightening of family rules, hierarchy, stereotypical forms of interaction and limitation of changes. The difference between the actual family homeostasis and the image of ideal family functioning in both drug addicts and their relatives is the basis of global family dissatisfaction. It has been established that the system of relationships and family attitudes in drug addiction in the family is characterized by the conflict-generating spheres of attitudes towards the family and the father, which may be due to transgenerational conflict. The systemic correction of family dysfunction and the target of psychotherapeutic interventions is substantiated. Correction of the parameters of the family system that support drug addiction, in particular the characteristics of emotional distance and flexibility in the family, inadequate family attitudes and stereotypes of interaction, inadequate family image and transgenerational conflict are the main directions of psychotherapeutic interventions.
