Study on synthesis and crystal structure of the one-dimensional infinite chain tri(o-chlorobenzyl)tin 4-picolinate

The one-dimensional chain tri(o-chlorobenzyl)tin 4-picolinate has been synthesized.The crystal structure of the complex was determined by X-ray diffraction.The crystal belongs to monoclinic with space group P2(1)/n with a=0.8844(3)nm,(b=)1.8931(6)nm,c=1.5387(5)nm,β=92.266(5)°,V=2.5741(14)nm~3,Z=4,Dx=1.593Mg·m~(-3),μ(MoKα)=13.29cm~(-1),F(000)=1232,R_1=0.0377,wR_2=0.0936.In the crystal,the tin rendered five-coordium in trigonal bipyramidal structure by bridging pyridine N atom,resulting in the one-dimensional chain polymer.
