The invention relates to a method for ecology restoration and water quality maintenance of a city landscape water body by adopting reclaimed water as supply. According to the method, a composite type plant ecology system comprising two parts of an ecology bank revetment and a composite type ecology floating island is constructed, and an artificial regulation system is adopted to regulate a landscape water body, wherein the ecology bank revetment comprises a vegetation soil slope type bank revetment, a vegetation tile type bank revetment and a wetland type ecology bank revetment; bank revetments on both sides of the landscape water body are provided with multiple groups of composite type ecology floating islands, wherein each group of the composite type ecology floating islands is formed by connecting a plurality of floating island monomers, and the lower parts of each group of the composite type ecology floating islands are suspended with ecology grasses; the artificial regulation system comprises three parts of water supply regulation, water body disturbance/oxygen increase regulation and aquatic animal regulation. The method of the present invention is applicable for landscape water bodies adopting reclaimed water as a supply water source, wherein the reclaimed water meets requirements of "The reuse of urban recycling water-Water quality standard for scenic environment use". With the method of the present invention, natural ecology system construction and artificial regulation are combined, self-purification capacity of water bodies can be effectively enhanced, and landscape function of water bodies can be maintained.
