Contact layer method in adhesive mechanics

The article presents a solution to problems on the deformation mode of complex bodies that are adhesive models or adhesive joints using the method specified in [1] and considers the existence of the contact layer with undetermined thickness between the adhesive and substrate with properties that differ from those of pair contact. This layer also serves to characterize the quality of an adhesive joint.
