The browser safety achieving method comprises the steps of installing system service started with starting of an operating system in the operating system where the browser is located through a browser installation package when a browser is installed, arranging a safety module in the browser, invoking the system service through the safety module after the browser is started, and intercepting modification on a browser installing file and/or browser data, performed by a first progress independent of a browser progress. By means of the browser safety achieving method, the system service related to safety is written into a logic of the browser, a safety function can become a function of the browser itself, the system service is invoked through the safety module built in the browser to ensure the safety of the browser itself, and therefore, the problem that the browser cannot monitor and ensure the safety of the browser itself is solved.
