A process for the introduction of hydrogen into a synthesis gas conversion reaction

2012
Synthesis gas conversion process for a process. A hydrogen-containing purge gas is passed over a membrane selectively permeable to water and that has a next synthesis gas conversion reaction zone where the synthesis gas is contacted with a catalyst and reacted to form a effluent water. The water is discharged from the reaction zone through the membrane. The purge gas has a high hydrogen so that the hydrogen passes through the membrane into the reaction zone.
