Microwave absorption in gaseous SF6 in the region of 2.3 cm−1

Microwave absorption in gaseous SF6 is reported at 295 K in the density range 15–30 amagat and in the region of 2.3 cm−1. The microwave results are compared with the extrapolated infrared results.
