Input power testing method and device for home appliance based on IEC standard

The invention discloses an input power testing method and device for a home appliance based on an IEC standard. The method comprises the following steps: S1, in a representative period where a tested home appliance works, collecting the work voltage and the work current of the tested home appliance according to the same frequency; S2, calculating instantaneous power values P and counting the total quantity N of the instantaneous power values P; S3, calculating an average value P' and setting a value which is two times than the instantaneous power average value as instantaneous power threshold value 2P'; S4, counting the quantity n of the instantaneous power values P which are greater than the instantaneous power threshold value 2P'and outputting the input powder of the tested home appliance. The method and device disclosed by the invention can be used for effectively and quickly testing the input power of the home appliance, meet the requirement of IEC60335-1: 2013 A1 standard and can be used for examining whether the powder marked by the home appliance manufacturer meets the standard or not.
