Direct visualization of on-chip THz topological states

We demonstrate nonlinear generation of terahertz topological edge states in an SSH lattice engineered on a LiNbO 3 chip, manifested directly in the bandgap from the dispersion relation and further verified by the characteristic electric field distribution.
