SCODA, acquisition system of coincidence data for capture γ-ray studies

We present a new system for acquisition of γγ-coincidences developed at the University of Fribourg. This system consists of an in-house designed correlator accommodating up to 16 ADC inputs and a National Instruments 32-bit DIO card plugged in a IBM-compatible PC. The graphical user interface was developed using LabVIEW whereas the time-critical data processing was written in the C programming language.
