The invention relates to a Chinese medicine for treating periodontitis, which is characterized by comprising the following Chinese herbal medicines by weight: 6 to 10 grams of golden thread, 6 to 9 grams of phellodendron, 6 to 9 grams of common selfheal fruit-spike, 6 to 9 grams of wild chrysanthemum, 6 to 10 grams of root of straight ladybell, 6 to 10 grams of common anemarrhena rhizome, 8 to 12 grams of gypsum, 6 to 10 grams of cochinchnese asparagus root, 8 to 10 grams of tree peony bark, 6 to 10 grams of rehmannia root, 6 to 10 grams of spreading hedyotis herb, 6 to 10 grams of rhinoceros horn, 4 to 6 grams of notoginseng root, 6 to 10 grams of bamboo leaf, 6 to 10 grams of glabrous greenbrier rhizome and 4 to 6 grams of liquoric root. The Chinese herbal medicines are mixed, soaked and decocted in water to form decoction, wherein each dose is 200 milliliters, the decoction is taken orally twice in a day, namely at morning and night, 100 milliliters of detection is taken every time, and 10 days is one treatment course. On the basis of the integral treatment concept of clearing heat and detoxicating, nourishing yin and falling fire, promoting production of body fluid, invigorating blood circulation and stopping bleeding, eliminating stasis and relieving pain and inducing diuresis and expelling toxin, the Chinese medicine has a good curative effect, a short treatment course, a high cure rate and low cost and does not have any toxic or side effect, and diagnosis and treatment is performed clinically according to different symptoms.
