P‐150: High‐Performance, Low‐Cost eele‐enhanced® Rear‐Projection‐TV Lamp Assembly

Both theoretical and experimental output performance data are presented for a 95mm tall, eele-enhanced®, metal, rear projection TV Lamp assembly. This new design not only inherits previous reported lifetime and etendue efficiency advantages of eele-enhanced® technology, but also significantly improves the output performance. A new, low cost Plug and Play manufacturing process is also presented that enables the implementation of a customer replaceable low cost arc lamp (burner).
