The invention relates to an Internet of Things method and device for ocean ports. Intelligent radio frequency identification device (RFID) sensors are arranged on all facilities of an ocean port, which include a wharf, a shipping center building, a storage center and a cargo yard and further comprise ships, berths, cargo trucks, loading-unloading hoists, cargos, containers and dangerous cargos. Internet of Things sensor monitoring environment data including ocean waves, wind and the tide height, are set. The data are transmitted to a database of the Internet of Things through a wireless network, an Internet of Things central monitoring intelligent center performing intelligent control, a cloud computation center performs data processing, instructions are transmitted to commanders, managers and field operators through computer mobile terminals such as mobile phones and PID, and loading, unloading, transportation and emergency processing are performed. The device comprises an emergency rescue capsule. By means of the method and the device, ocean logistics management, including online space booking and logistics value adding, can be directed; information data are encrypted through an encryption module, the safety is guaranteed, and intelligent ocean ports are achieved.
