Toxicity of some insecticides to the development stages of two cockroach species

Soil application of aldicarb at 1 kg a.i./ha effectively controlled Hoplolaimus indicus, Tylenchorhynchys brassicae, Tylenchus filiformis and Trichodorus mirzai infesting wheat, barley, linseed and tomato, while carbofuran, in a separate experiment, at the same dose, brought about similar results against these nematodes and Helicotylenchus indicus on the above crops and also on oats.
