Development of analysis methods of ethyl carbamate in alcoholic beverages

Ethyl carbamate is a pluripotent carcinogen and the alcoholic beverages contain trace ethyl carbamate. Data on analytical methodology were summarized,and the sample preparation method,the selected ion monitoring mode( SIM) ,international collaborative studies and development of analytical methodologies in China were reviewed.The view for the research in this field was also taken.
