AbstractA group of Australasian micro-Fissidens, which at various times have been placed in two genera and some 15 different species, are regarded as four varieties of the single species, Fissidens taylorii C.Muell., in Section Fissidens, Subgenus Fissidens. Descriptions, illustrations and a key to the varieties are provided.
