Optical Diagnostics of a Low Temperature Argon Thruster

2011
We have diagnosed by optical emission spectroscopy a relatively low temperature helicon plasma thruster working with argon in various conditions and configurations, in order to explain and optimize its functioning. This work concerns specifically the helicon plasma thruster developed in the frame of the research project Helicon Plasma Hydrazine Combined Micro (HPH.com).
