Disclosed are a method (10) for coating a surface, the preparation of a doped Metallionenprakursorlosung for coating, and an industrial product with a component obtained by the described method (10) is coated. The method (10) of the coating includes the step of depositing a doped fluorosilane Metallionenprakursorlosung on the surface to form a coated surface. The Metallionenprakursorlosung has a concentration of greater than about 0.6 mol% of a Metallionenprakursors in a solvent containing an alcohol. The method for preparation of the doped Metallionenprakursorlosung includes the steps of: dissolving a Metallionenprakursors in a solvent containing an alcohol, at a temperature of more than about 100 ° C and refluxing at a temperature of greater than about 150 ° C, so that the concentration is the Metallionenprakursors in the solution is greater than 0.6 mol% of the solution; and adding a fluorosilane to the Metallionenprakursorlosung.
