The study of high strength hydraulic bolt on the tensile resilience

The preload of bolt is very important for bolt connection, because it affects the reliability and tightness of the connection. The best bolt mounting method for the control of preload is through a hydraulic stretching device. However, the initial tensile bolt preload is not equal to the final, as a result of elastic rebound deformation of bolt. This paper analyses the tensile resilience of hydraulic bolt, the influence of friction coefficient and force distribution of screw thread are considered. The calculation method of hydraulic bolt tension rebound rate is presented, which combines the simulation of Workbench, and the results are verified by the actual value and empirical coefficient.
