Magnetic particle-particle interaction in single-particle systems and agglomerates

1996
Magnetic resonance is used to investigate magnetic interaction in magnetic fluids and magnetic agglomerates. Magnetic dipole-dipole interaction between monodomain particles accounts for the magnetic resonance data in magnetic fluids. In magnetic agglomerates however an anisotropic interaction between spins in the agglomerate and spins in the magnetic monodomain dominates the magnetic resonance behavior.
