Factors Influencing Early Marriage In Adolescents

Risks that threaten reproductive health for women when deciding to marry at an unnecessary age include abortion, anemia, sexual violence, and cervical cancer. The aim of this research is to know the factors that influence early marriage in adolescents. This research is a quantitative research, carried out by means of data obtained from a questionnaire and the data management is done in a descriptive analytic, with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge and the incidence of early marriage with a p value of 0.017 <0.05. Educational level p value 0.039 <0.05, economic status p value 0.040 <0.05, cultural p value 0.509 <0.05 that there is no relationship between culture and the incidence of early marriage, democratic parenting patterns of early marriage occur at most 16 (36.4%), peers p value 0.017 <0.05 with early marriage in adolescents. The conclusion of the research results shows that there is a relationship between the level of education, the level of knowledge, economic status and the high percentage of democratic parenting with the incidence of early marriage, there is no relationship between cultural factors and the incidence of early marriage, there is a relationship between peer factors and early marriage. For the KUA, the results of this research are expected to provide information, knowledge, efforts to new couples related to early age marriage to be carried out periodically, to the public from the results of the research it is hoped that the need to further increase the desire to explore information and health education for adolescents about marriage. For further researchers, from the research results are expected to be more active in seeking information, it is hoped that the next researcher will examine adolescents who have early marriage based on age
