Optimization Design of Flexible Solar Cell Interconnect Based on Submodel Method

Due to the different mechanical properties of the components of flexible solar cell, the interconnects will produce large thermal stress under high temperature loading conditions. The connection of spot weld will produce a large pull force. As to this problem, the component system is analyzed using finite element modeling and simulation. The stress distribution of a group of interconnects and their connecting regions was analyzed by using the submodel analysis technique. And this paper carries out optimization design for the structure of the stress-reducing ring of the interconnect, studies the relationship between the design variables and the structural performance of interconnect by response surface technique, and obtains more structural dimension parameters by goal-driven optimization analysis Basing on NSGA-II genetic algorithm.
