Investigating the turbomachines of a GT-100-750-2 gas turbine plant

The GT-100-750-2 gas turbine plant has intercooling with compression and interheating with expansion; it comprises two compressors (design total compression ratio--26.5) and two turbines. The flow section of the low pressure compressor (LPC) has a constant external diameter and the flow sections of the remaining turbomachines have a constant internal diameter. The characteristics of the thermal process and of the turbomachines of the GT-100 plant have been investigated in detail at various stages of commissioning and acceptance of the gas turbine plant. The most important findings are reviewed.
