Ozet Gelisen bir dunyada hizli degisen bir cevreye dogan cocuklar, kent yasaminin olumsuz etkileriyle karsi karsiya kalmaktadirlar. Bu olumsuzluklari gidermede erken cocukluk egitimi Onemli bir etkendir. Erken cocukluk doneminde egitimin Onemi artik tartisma konusu olmaktan cikmis, bu egitimin niteliginin artirilmasi yolunda cesitli calismalar ve projeler gundeme gelmistir. Bu calismada, erken cocukluk egitimi ile esdeger olarak anilan oyun etkinliklerinin onemi ortaya koyulmakta ve bu alanda yapilan calismalar incelenmektedir. Anahtar kelimeler: Erken cocukluk egitimi, oyun. Abstract The children who are born to a quickly changing environment in a developing world face negative effects of urban life. Pre-school education is an important factor in removing these negative effects. The importance of the education during the pre-school age has not been a subject to discuss any more, and some studies and projects dealing with enhancing the quality of this education are in the agenda, in this study, the importance of game activities which are counted equal to pre-school education is stated and the studies carried out in this field are analysed.
