Phenol Oxidase Mediated Protein Cross-Linking

Abstract : This project is examining the mechanisms of protein cross linking induced by phenol oxidase mediated processes in the schistosome eggshell. Synthetic peptides are being used as models for this process. Physical and chemical techniques are being used to examine their properties.
