The device comprises a rack, wherein electronic tags are arranged on a tag roll, a pulling device, a reader-writer and a controller are arranged on the rack, the pulling device is used for pulling the electronic tags from the tag roll so that the electronic tags can pass through the reading and writing area of the reader-writer, the reader-writer is used for reading and writing on the electronic tags and informing the controller after the reader-writer finishing reading and writing on one target tag, and the controller is used for controlling the pulling device to pull the electronic tag next to the target tag to the reading and writing area after receiving the notice of the reader-writer. According to the electronic tag reading and writing device, the reading and writing speed of the electronic tags can be increased, production efficiency is improved, and the specified electronic tags can be detected or subjected to data reading and writing accurately, reliably and fast.
