Steel sheet piles and steel sheet pile wall

2013
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve removal strength by shortening a distance between a portion likely to be deformed and an engaging contact point for reducing a generated moment or increasing the thickness of the portion likely to be deformed for securing bearing force against the moment.SOLUTION: A steel sheet pile is formed into a cross-section of bent shape, having at least one or more webs and flanges in a cross-sectional shape orthogonal to a plate surface. The steel sheet pile includes flange parts at side parts on both sides, a first joint part is provided at the outside end of one flange part, and a second joint part is provided at the outside end of the other flange part. When the first joint part and the second joint part arranged adjacently to the first joint part are engaged and connected with each other to form a wall, each of the first joint part and the second joint part is provided (a1) with a head, a bottom, and a small claw part in a C-shape in this order from the tip of the joint part, (a2) with a groove-shaped fitting groove surrounded by the head, the bottom, and the small claw part and fittable to the head, and (a3) is connected to the flange part by connections of the bottom and the small claw part.
