A limit parity admixtures in the atomic 2s → 1s transitions

Abstract From a measurement of the intensity of the atomic 2 s →1 s transition in Tm ( Z = 69) a limit of F 2 −8 was derived for the square of the parity admixing amplitude in the 2s state, not inconsistent with predictions of neutral current models.
