Methodology to correlate fertilizer and electrical resistance of soil

2016
This paper is an experimental and theoretical method developed in laboratory bench that uses a geoelectrical method, the Wenner method, to correlate the changes in electrical resistance of soil produced by chemical fertilization. The developed methodology allowed to know the dynamic behavior that some common fertilizer causes on the electrical resistance measurements of the soil under study. The applied method is noninvasive, i.e., a non-destructive method that does not change the soil structure. The methodology takes account different moisture contents, in a way that different humidity conditions of the samples will not interfere in the effects to be observed, caused by the fertilizers that are the objects of this study.
