Abstract The level of competition for Honda motorcycle transportation equipment in people's lives which increasingly increases the quality of services and promotions can influence consumers' buying interest. Effect of service quality on consumer buying interest in Accounting Education students at Surakarta Muhammadiyah University. The effect of promotion on consumer buying interest in accounting education students at Surakarta Muhammadiyah University. The influence of service quality and promotion on consumer buying interest in Accounting Education students at Surakarta Muhammadiyah University. This research method uses an associative quantitative method, a population of 278 students, a sample of 152 students, with atechnique Random Sampling with Proportionate stratified random sampling. Results showed through a linear regression analysis of service quality coefficient 0.257 and 0.164 promotion through t test obtained tcount 3,517 service quality, ttable 1,976 andpromotionalt, 2,344ttable 1.976. From the two variables, get Fcount 34.857> Ftable 3.081 shows the influence between service quality and promotion. Keyword: quality of service, promotion and buying interest.
