Application of Streaming Media in Network Teaching

In this paper,the basic principle of stream transmission and the key network protocol supporting the streaming media transmission are introduced.After comparison of the radical differences between RTSP and HTTP,it is indicated that the RTSP is more suitable to transmit the real-time multimedia data.Using Microsoft's windows Media Services as the vernel,the system scheme design and function of the streaming media application in the networr teaching are discussed and studies.
