The invention relates to a container processing method, a powder receiving container and an image forming apparatus. The invention aims to reduce manpower and time for moving a plurality of toner containers (32) kept in an open bundle state. At least two toner containers (32) respectively provided with connecting parts (339a-339d) connected with other toner containers (32) are connected through respective connecting parts for processing. In this way, more toner containers (32) are moved compared with a condition in which toner containers are simply in an open bundle state. A user can move all kept toner containers (32) by one time or reduce the times for repeated movement for finishing the moving of the toner containers (32). The manpower and time of moving the toner containers (32) are thus reduced.
