Nuclear g factors and structure of the 12/sup +/ isomer in /sup 106/Cd and the 7/sup -/ isomer in /sup 132/Xe

By the method of differential perturbed angular distribution g factors have been measured for the 2214-keV(7/sup -/) and 4659.8-keV(12/sup +/) states in /sup 132/Xe and /sup 106/Cd respectively. The (..cap alpha..,2n) reaction was used at E/sub ..cap alpha../ = 27 MeV. The results obtained are: g(7/sup -/ in /sup 132/Xe = -0.009(4) and g(12/sup +/ in /sup 106/Cd) = +0.74(2). The results and the structure of isomeric states are discussed.
