The ratio …gA/gV… in the decay Σ− → ne−νe

Abstract The magnitude of ratio between the axial and vector form factors in the decay Σ − → ne − ν e is measured to be … g A / g V … = 0.17 −0.09 +0.07 from a sample of 519 events with 1.6% background. This result is compared to other experimental values.
