Terminal (1) for electrically connecting at least one electrical contact element (4a, 4b, 4c) to a wire (8a, 8b, 8c), with - an insulating body (2), in which the contact element (4a, 4b, 4c) is arranged, - wherein the contact element (4a, 4b, 4c) an insertion hole (7a, 7b, 7c) in the insulating body (2) for the conductor wire (8a, 8b, 8c) is arranged upstream in an insertion direction, - and wherein the contact element (4a, 4b, 4c) with a contact part (5) is electrically connected, - extending through a receiving hole (6) in a wall (2a) of the insulating body (2) to the outside, characterized, that the contact element (4a, 4b, 4c) and the contact part (5) are connected to each other by a cutting and clamping contact.
