Modelación de la conducción transversal en compósitos superconductores

2011
A theoretical model that describes the current distribution in superconductor-metal composites is presented. The model is verified in a case when the relation between both components is kept constant along the sample, typical of longitudinal conduction. The current distribution for a Bi2223/Ag tape in the transversal direction was obtained, where the proportion between the superconductor material and silver is non uniform. Results show that abrupt changes in proportion between superconductor and silver do not cause a significant influence on the current distribution.
