Modeling and analyzing an Optimal Control Method for Parallel Multi-matrix Converter Systems in Intelligent Micro-grid

2019
The parallel connection of multi-system matrix converters is an important technology to ensure the reliable operation of smart grids, and it is one of the hotspots of current research. In this paper, the three-phase power supplies, control module and three-phase to three-phase matrix converter are used as a single system to study the situation that three systems are connected in parallel to supply the same load, and the conditions for multi-system parallel operation are given. Basing on the improved PWM algorithm, a multi-system parallel simulation model is established by using MATLAB. When a system fails and the parameters of the model change, the established model can automatically remove the faulty system, and the remaining two non-faulty systems can still make the load work normally. When two systems fail at the same time, the remaining system can be used to supply power to the load normally, but the corresponding current will increase.
