Memory controller and operation method thereof

PURPOSE: A memory controller and an operating method thereof improve the reliability of data by performing a randomizing or de-randomizing process corresponding to flexibly changed meta data according to the configuration of the memory controller. CONSTITUTION: A first processing unit performs a command received from a host. A memory (110) loads multiple random sequences. A first conversion unit (120) selects the predetermined random sequences among the multiple random sequences according to a data pattern of a data block. The first conversion unit randomizes the data block by using the selected random sequence or de-randomizes the randomized data block by using the selected random sequence.
