Informativeness of the various biochemical markers of sepsis: literary and own data

The review presents recent data on the informativeness of different biochemical markers for early diagnosis of sepsis, the most studied in detail as follows: C-reactive protein, procalcitonin, presepsin, endotoxin. Also is presented the own experience of the authors in determination of the endotoxin activity for the diagnosis of severe sepsis.
