Preparation method for mesoporous electrode and application thereof

The invention discloses a preparation method for a mesoporous electrode. The preparation method is characterized by comprising the following steps of: 1, pre-treating active carbon: grinding active carbon particles into powder with the particle size of 70 to 1,000 meshes, and then washing by using water and drying; 2, canning the active carbon: putting the pretreated active carbon powder into a container, degassing for 1 to 2 hours by vacuumizing, and then sealing the container by welding; 3, performing hot isostatic pressing treatment: performing hot isostatic pressing on the container for 0.5 to 2 hours in a hot isostatic press at a temperature of between 500 and 2,000 DEG C and a pressure of between 500 and 25,000 psi; 4, cooling the container at a speed of 100 to 500 DEG C per hour; and 5, mechanically processing a mesoporous carbon electrode which is molded by hot isostatic pressing into an electrode slice with a required shape. The mesoporous electrode is applied to equipment for electro-adsorption desalination and electrolytic water treatment.
