Spectral studies of optical coherence in DNA-encapsulated silver clusters

Novel emitters consisting of silver nanoclusters that are bound to single-stranded DNA show great promise as accurately positioned single photon sources that can interact coherently. Here, we present first results of a spectroscopic study.
