Polyarylene sulfide production device equipped with feed pipe

Provided is a polyarylene sulfide (PAS) production device which includes a reaction vessel and is equipped with one or more feed pipes through which a corrosive material, e.g., a strong alkali, is introduced into the reaction vessel. This PAS production device makes it possible to accurately introduce given amounts of various starting materials, etc. into the reaction vessel and is free from the decrease in production efficiency caused by replacement of the feed pipe(s) or repair of the reaction vessel as a result of the corrosion of the feed pipe(s) or the like. The PAS production device includes a reaction vessel equipped with one or more feed pipes, and is characterized in that at least one of the feed pipes is equipped with a preferably detachable insert pipe which is inserted into an outer feed pipe and the end opening of which is located more inward than the inner wall of the reaction vessel. The device is especially for PAS production.
