CHAPTER 6:Aggregation-induced Emission Mechanofluorochromic Materials

Recent research on mechanofluorochromic materials based on the aggregation-induced emission molecules has been presented. The structure–property relationships and mechanisms of the AIE mechanofluorochromic materials have been described. The structural relationships between the aggregation-induced emission compounds and mechanofluorochromism have been recognized. The molecular design strategy based on the AIE structures may be widely applicable to the mining of new mechanofluorochromic materials.
